The street got crowded since 4:00 p.m. People arrived since 2:00 p.m

Fairday - the homo side

All love is equal

 I think Fairday is a very well-organized event where heterosexual and homosexual people, adults and children, local and tourists, visitors and passer-bys all mingles together harmoniously. It's hard to say this is a food festival, or a dog festival or a specific homo event. I could only see a fair where everybody in Sydney can come and enjoy a sunny-Sunday picnic.

A good chunk of my childhood summers were spent watching Price is Right. So you can believe my reality starstruck when I found out Tony was a contestant and won the showcase showdown! What's sweeter is he shared his prize with the one he loves and proposed to Kevin in Scotland! Our cute couple's amazing love story continued to the beautiful setting of Lake Tahoe, where family and friends gathered for their special day. They exchanged readings from Harry Potter and Jack Johnson's Better Together, which brought everyone to tears. We are absolutely joyful to be part of Tony and Kevin's wedding day and to have met such kind and wonderfully supportive people.

Just married

the Pride comes to town

Quite surprising. I think it would not come until 2015 or later.
More surprising: it starts in Ha Noi, not Sai Gon where gay culture is more open.
Well, it's good and it's 2012 already.
This country needs to open more.

My suggestion:
People who tend to join the parade should look better, especially in physical
Beautiful people undoubtedly are more sympathized.
I think it's only "pride" when these people are good in many ways: successful, nice-looking, and truely happy.
I don't think it's pride when a group of minority who look un-attractive noisily yell out how they are proud of themselves.

Introducing "Uncle and Son"

Hung is an orphan. His parents abandoned him long time ago. He has lived with his uncle Ba since he was a child. Uncle Ba is a clever tailor and he's always kind to others. However, he is discriminated on the grounds of sex because he's gay. People they always tease him and speak against him and Hung family behind his back. Hung feels so lonely. The film was staged in Mekong, it's so simple, gentle and quite upset just like a Vong Co lyric about some specific people who have been isolated and discriminated.

"...and you know why? Because the sexual orientation of my parents has a zero affect on the content of my character " - said this son raised by a couple of lesbian.

I'm wondering whether they can prevent homosexuality or not.  Currently, it seems impossible to do that, which means that no parents are sure their new born babies are heterosexual or homosexual until the children get 13 or even 18. So it would be an awkward situation when a person strongly opposing gay marriage gets married, having babies to discover 18 years later that one of his/her children will just love a same-sex partner. Does he or she feel cursed? If that is a curse, then don't curse homosexual people because you don't know what will happen to your children and your grand children. 

And I think preventing people from happiness is a curse.
