a busy MAY

well, I hadn't imagined SIUP would be such a busy place, even though I had seen how my two ex-classmates worked day and night there. My first month of working end today, so I think I have some time to summarize things.

1/ I would never forget 3 nights and 2 days I had with Martin and Rock, the two guys from Canada made a tour along Vietnam. To me, they are new friends, not just visitors. I really wanted to show them more about my city, about Vietnam but they had so little time here. I may write about the memory in another entry.

2/ ah, SIUP is my new workplace. And my first job here is designing a...logo, an anniversary one for their 55th year of development. Of course, my design wasn't chosen, but they rewarded a little amount. That's kool, haha.

3/ my first urban design project here is so exciting. But it took me two weekends and many extra working hours. And yesterday was a crazy day. I started rendering the 3D animation at 11 pm Sunday, then went home and slept, then woke up at 3 am Monday, reached the office at about 4:20, waited til the rendering finished. Then our departure were delayed and we had to wait for the Japanese expert to come. We left at 6 am. That was a real hurry because we would have a presentation in ...Camau at 1 pm. ( it requires 7 hours to go from HCM city to Camau).

We didn't have a second to rest after lunch in Camau, hurrying to the Commitee office for the presentation. Finished at 5 p.m, going around for awhile to photograph several places, the went right back to Saigon.

We reached the Park View hotel, where two foreign experts stayed, at ...1 a.m, Tuesday morning.

When I called a taxi to take me home. He didnt trust me when I said I was back from Camau. For many times he looked at me throught the glass for my voice was distorted and my walking was like a drunk guy trying to keep his balance. lol.

4/ well well, believe things are just getting better. Love it!
