Thanx to my two designer-friends, Le Thanh Hoa & Kim Khanh,I got a ticket to Vietnam Fashion Week 2011's very first night. This year the show again takes place at the Consulate General of France's Palace, an elegant old-aged mansion that mixes both Vietnamese tropical garden landscape and French architecture so well. But it was just the first attraction. I was impressed by the Consulate General's opening speech which was fluent in not only French and English but also in Vietnamese.
The show then began with a collection by Hong Vuong, Van Khoa, Bich Ha from Viet Thang company, and went on with:
