Saigon has suddenly turn cold today, and that's just perfect for a Halloween. The winter-like temperature helped make the air a little bit easier to breathe through traffic jam. Young people wearing cheap ghostly mask were riding around trying to have some fun. Some screamed or roared their motorbike and somehow succeeded in gaining some attention. Others, better players, waited til late to join parties in clubs and bars. I saw some small shops, and even street vendors,in Nguyen Thi Minh Khai street opened late to sell masks, hats, toys, clothes ... wow, what a well-imported event to celebrate!
At first I thought I was weird trying to stay away from noise tonight. But when I came home after a peaceful night eating out and going to the cinema alone, checking my offline messages and Facebook updates,I knew I was not the only one. hehe.
The unplanned night was just too good for me: enjoy Phở Hùng in Nguyen Trai street, then have a drink at the open-air cafe' in front of Citimart, watching people passing by. Finally, I caught the last show of the night at Galaxy Cinema. Named " R.E.D", the Bruce Willis movie brought a right level of action, adding some laughters and romantic scenes, entertaining very well.
I just come up with "Thriller" video clip when starting to type this blog entry. It did inspire me well tonight. However, later at 2:00 p.m, Youtube led me to the Indian version of the song and it's the time I feel really scared. Terrible!!!Well it's late, almost early morning now. I'm listening to MJ's " Human Nature" for several more times and sleeping. Have a nice weekend !
