Daily Deviation is still my favorite place to visit and browse for inspiration. Usually my pick-ups are excellent work of details. However, sometimes I just pick them up for I think I may re-use them. For example, an image of colorful balloons at high resolution is a good thing to cut and paste (the balloons, of course) into a lively perspective for one my urban projects. Another way to use these pick-ups is learn the best thing of them, and make it my own. When I saw the decent black and white photo of hands on hands ( below), I started to think of drawing something repetitive of small but good details. Each details slide on the other and change a lil bit in size or direction. Finally I may have a strange mess of details, possily good or bad, hehe, I'm not sure until I do it. That's just my way.
